这部影片讲述的是过着孤单寂寞的大学生名叫次郎，在她20岁生日的时候遇到了生命中的那个他，两人在一起度过了一个十分美好的夜晚，但是之后那个人就在次狼的生命中消失了，一年之后的生日之中，本以为还会过回原来孤单寂寞生活的次郎，又一次看到了这个女人，就是这一天，他像次郎讲述了一个非常惊天动地的故事，说他是未来的次郎所制造出来的机器人，穿越到过去来保护她免受灾难之后，这个机器人就住在次郎的家里面，和次郎一起居住在家中，但是灾难并没有远离次狼，次郎和这个机器人在相处之中们生出了感情。
