故事发生在一个科技高度发达的未来。人类的生活习惯正在不断受到高科技的改变，同时也滋生出新的欲望。为了满足人类的需求，第一代人工智能机器人K-1在天安科研局秘密研制下诞生了。K-1的任务是替代警察执行危险任务，以确保执法人员的安全。为了测试其性能，局长决定派K-1到一个偏远的小镇实习，并由当地的警察队长徐大春秘密监管。
