《游戏王GX》于2004年10月6日-2008年3月26日每周三18:00~18:30在日本东京电视台播出。是《游戏王》动画系列的第2部作品，由辻初树导演制作的电视动画，由辻初树，武上纯希，吉田伸主演
故事围绕第一部剧情结束之后的故事展开，讲述了十年后，游城十代为了夺取决斗学院地底被封印在决斗学院地理遗迹中，拥有着毁灭世界力量的三幻魔，报名参加了决斗学院的考试。这三幻魔，代表的是全新的力量，三幻魔分别幻魔皇拉比艾尔、降雷皇哈蒙、神炎皇乌利。是虽然是10年后的世界观，但是游戏卡争霸的核心没有变，同时上一部德中的角色也会部分陆陆续续登场。动画的最后，游城十代用大德寺老师留下来的卡片贤者之石打败了三幻魔，并且和丸藤亮展开了毕业决斗并打成平手，游城十代从而开展了全新的游戏王之路。

The story revolves around the story after the end of the first episode.
