韩国政治家金沄范从小的要求就是需要改变韩国当下的局面反对独裁，然而在多次参加选举之后都没有获得绝对的选举票数最终都以失败而落选。在一次偶然机会当中，他遇到了选举策略家徐昌台两人的搭档让金沄范在选举过程当中一路畅通无阻，原本在选举过程当中其票数本不占优势的金沄范竟然成为了韩国党内第一大候选人，然而就当他为了总统大选时做好一切的准备，家中却突然遇到杀手的袭击，其嫌疑人目前所有的证据都被指向是自己的帮手徐昌台，两人一路奋战到现在无论是作为对手还是朋友，所有的关系在这一刻均发生偏移，为了可以改变国家两人在政治观念上也已经发生了新的变化。
