"Sky Army" is a sci-fi action movie directed by Min Junki and starring Kim Seung Woo, Park Joong Hoon, Hwang Jung Min, and Kong Hyo Jin. The film tells the story of three people from the future who traveled through time and space to North Korea and helped Yi Sun-shin win the war
The main plot of the film is about a North Korean military officer who kidnaps nuclear physicist Kim Soo-yeon and tries to transfer the technology for making nuclear weapons to the United States. In a sudden whirlwind, they came to North Korea in 1572 and encountered attacks from Yi Sun-shin and the Jurchen tribe. In the battle with the Jurchens, they lost the "Flying Shock Thunder", but eventually regained it and repelled the enemy.
In the movie, Yi sun-shin is a very important character, he sticks to his beliefs and eventually becomes a hero. This role plays a vital role in the development and ending of the whole story. In the end, they are faced with the choice to stay in the past and fight with Yi Sun-shin, or return to the future.
