吉姆（多米尼克-铂塞尔饰）从事着普通的保安工作，虽然收入不高，但是生活安定平静。但是祸不单行，首先他妻子患上罕见的癌症，需要巨额的医疗费，且不在保险理赔范围内；其次他发现他购买的基金连续亏损，但这还不是最糟糕的事情。因为华尔街的金融家的恶意操纵，吉姆的基金不但没有赚到钱，反而欠了银行一笔巨款。有律师同意帮他出面打官司，但是即使官司赢了，他的本金也收不回来，而且还要付巨额的律师费。屋漏偏逢连夜雨，吉姆因为欠债被保安公司辞退，他的生活彻底陷入绝境。他的妻子不想拖累他，选择了自杀。吉姆被多重打击而陷入了疯狂，他选择用极端的手段去报复那些害得他一无所有的吸血鬼，这些人包括保险经济、律师、华尔街的银行家以及和他们蛇鼠一窝的检察官
Jim (Dominic Purcell) is engaged in ordinary security work. Although his income is not high, his life is stable and peaceful. But misfortunes never come singly. First of all, his wife suffers from a rare cancer and needs huge medical expenses, which are not covered by insurance; secondly, he finds that the funds he bought have lost money continuously, but this is not the worst thing. Because of the malicious manipulation of Wall Street financiers, Jim's fund not only failed to make money, but owed a huge sum of money to the bank. A lawyer agreed to help him fight the lawsuit, but even if he won the lawsuit, he would not be able to get back his principal and would have to pay huge legal fees. The house leak happened to rain overnight, and Jim was fired by the security company because of his debts. His life was completely in jeopardy. His wife didn't want to drag him down and chose to commit suicide. Jim was driven into madness by multiple blows, and he chose extreme means to retaliate against the vampires who made him lose everything, including insurance brokers, lawyers, Wall Street bankers, and prosecutors who lived with them
