由于高中时代同班同学山内樱良（滨边美波饰）的一席话，我（小栗旬饰）最终成为母校的一名教ddd。在和学生栗山聊天的时候，我不经意想起了与樱良共度的那几个月时光。当年，我（北村匠海饰）偶然发现樱良的秘密。她罹患了严重的胰脏疾病，不知何时起她动笔写下了抗病日记。疾病并没有击倒这个活泼开朗的女孩，她反而展露出愈加灿烂的笑容。与之相对，我更多地活在自己的世界中，鲜少与人交往。在日记的帮助下，我们的人生轨迹短暂地交回到了一起。我与她共度有限的每一天，直到那份快乐自在戛然而止……本片根据住野夜的同名小说改编
Because of a word from my high school classmate Sakura Yamauchi (Miha Hamabe), I (Shun Oguri). While chatting with my student Kuriyama, I inadvertently remembered the months I spent with Sakura. Back then, I (Takumi Kitamura) accidentally discovered Sakura's secret. She suffered from a serious pancreatic disease, and at some point in time she began to write a diary of disease resistance.
