The movie "Secret Love" is based on the novel "The Only Special Day in My Life" by the female writer Jeon Kyung-rin, written and directed by Byun Young-hee , starring Kim Yun-jin and Lee Jong-won. This love movie tells the story of an ordinary housewife who fell in love with her husband under the huge blow of her husband's derailment, and fell into a story of being unable to extricate herself. The movie was released in South Korea on November 8, 2002

In the story, housewife Mi-kyung (played by Kim Yoon-jin) has a dark life after she learns that her husband is cheating on her. She decides to move, hoping to forget her pain through a change of environment, but falls into constant headaches and nightmares. Until one day, she met doctor Ren Kui (played by Li Zongyuan) in a seaside village.

Ren Kui is a country doctor who lives a leisurely life. Although he is also a family man, he never gives up anything to pass the boring time Opportunity. He is good at enjoying all kinds of chaotic erotic life, until he meets Mi Kyung. In-gyu manages to win Mi-kyung's favor and completely own her heart. Mi-kyung finds comfort in her pain beside Ren-gyu, thinking she has found her true home.

However, on the day before Christmas, a woman dressed in red made a surprise visit and revealed to Mi-kyung: "Your lover , is my husband." This unexpected revelation plunged Mi-kyung into deep confusion and pain. Facing the entanglement of love, desire and betrayal, she had to face her inner and moral choices.

With its fascinating plot and complex emotional relationship, "Secret Love" reveals the themes of desire and betrayal in human nature. Director Bian Yong-hoon demonstrated the complexity of love and the challenges of ethics through delicate and profound narration. The excellent acting skills of Kim Yun-jin and Lee Jong-won add real and touching power to the film.
