《好雨时节》是一部温情治愈的爱情电影，讲述了在成都之春里，两位曾经的大学同窗在重逢后重新梳理彼此关系和过去的故事。影片的主人公May和Donghe，曾经在美国一起读书，现在却在成都相遇。两人显得既惊喜又尴尬，他们在成都的茶馆和小吃店中重新叙旧。不过蹊跷的是，东河却认定May曾经是自己的女朋友，但May却否认这一点。随后，东河联系大学时的同学证明两人曾经是情侣，但却得不到当下的见证。他们的记忆里的大学时光却好像是两个版本的故事。东河要离开了，最后在雨里和May跳了一支舞，她的态度让他无法直接表白自己其实一直惦记着和深爱着她。他离开时，May还是赶来送他去机场，然而一场车祸却让两人进入了医院，也让东河揭开了May的“失忆”之谜。
