《赌博默示录》是一部关于赌博的日本动漫。该片讲述的是穷困潦倒的伊藤开司为了逆转人生开始赌博游戏的故事。伊藤开司快要三十了，但是做着便利店员的他却一事无成，并且还因为好心为别人做保，由此欠下了巨额的债务。这一天，一位杀气腾腾的女人来找他，要求他偿还因担保欠下的巨额债务。但是伊藤根本无力偿还，远藤就提议他去一艘名为希望号的赌船上试试身手，在那里一旦获胜就能把身上的债务一笔勾销。黑夜中，伊藤登上了赌船，上了船才知道，船上都是像他一样混的穷困落魄的失意者，他们不知道的是，这是日本帝国设下的圈套，严苛的赌博规则根本不可能让伊藤他们胜出，只会成为赌局里的失败一方，沦为干苦工的奴隶，被逼无奈的伊藤决定奋起反击，他要用自己的生命为自己赌一个自由的未来
Gambling Apocalypse is a Japanese anime about gambling. The film tells the story of the impoverished Ito Kaiji who started a gambling game in order to reverse his life. Ito Kaiji is almost thirty years old, but he has achieved nothing as a convenience store clerk, and he owes a huge debt because of his kindness as a guarantee for others. On this day, a murderous woman came to him and asked him to repay the huge debt due to the guarantee. But Ito was unable to repay at all, so Endo suggested that he go to try his skills on a gambling ship named Hope, where once he wins, his debts can be written off. In the dark night, Ito boarded the gambling boat. Only when he boarded the boat did he realize that the boat was full of poor and desolate losers like him. What they didn't know was that this was a trap set by the Japanese Empire, with strict gambling rules. It is impossible for Ito and the others to win, they will only become the loser in the game and become a slave to hard work. Forced to do nothing, Ito decides to fight back. He wants to use his life to bet on a free future for himself
