"A Lang's Story" is an unforgettable Hong Kong drama. The film is directed by Johnnie To and stars Chow Yun-fat, Sylvia Chang and Huang Kunxuan. The story happened in Hong Kong in 1989

The film centers on A Lang (played by Chow Yun Fat) and tells the story of a racing driver who gave up his racing career in order to have a happy family. Alang is a talented racing driver, but his life is unruly and he can't settle down. However, his girlfriend Bo Bo (played by Zhang Aijia) is affectionate to him, no matter what his shortcomings and mistakes, she loves him without regrets and decides to marry him.

However, Alang did not change his ways after marriage, and even fought against the ups and downs of pregnancy. When Bobo was about to give birth, Alang still chose to participate in illegal racing, which resulted in a car accident and he was arrested and imprisoned. During this time, Popo's mother conspired with doctors to falsely report the baby's death and take Popo to the United States.

After Alang was released from prison, he deeply regretted the ending of his wife and children. He brought back his son Bo Zai (played by Huang Kunxuan) from the orphanage and supported him by driving a truck. Ten years later, Ah Lang accompanies Bo Zai to participate in a cycling race. Coincidentally, the race is organized by Bo Bo to promote children's clothing for an American fashion company. The husband and wife met again, silently.
