1942年夏天，17岁的弗莱德里希在一场拳击比赛中表现出色，被元首精英学校的教官看中。他不顾父亲的反对，伪造了签名，独自前往军事学校。弗莱德里希在学校里经历了艰苦的训练，不仅要接受严格的体能训练，还被灌输了“优胜劣汰”、“排犹”等军国主义思想。在学长的刁难和欺负下，他感到孤立无援，不得不忍受屈辱和痛苦。在这个过程中，他结交了好友阿尔伯特。但是，当阿尔伯特被意外死亡后，弗莱德里希开始思考自己的信仰和行为。

The film mainly tells the story of Frederick, a young man born in a worker's family, who accepted militaristic ideas such as "survival of the fittest" and "exclusion of Jews" in the elite training school in Nazi Germany. In the summer of 1942, 17-year-old Friedrich performed well in a boxing match and was watched by the instructors of the Führer's elite school middle. Regardless of his father's objection, he forged his signature and went to the military school alone. Friedrich experienced arduous training in school. He not only had to undergo strict physical training, but was also indoctrinated with militaristic ideas such as "survival of the fittest" and "anti-Semitism". Under the making things difficult and bullying by his seniors, he felt isolated and had to endure humiliation and pain. In the process, he made a friend Albert. But when Albert died unexpectedly, Friedrich began to think about his beliefs and actions.

Through Friedrich's growth process, the film shows the harsh reality of elite training schools in Nazi Germany and the militaristic ideology way of education. At the same time, it also shows the psychological struggle and growth process of an ordinary youth in the face of extreme ideas and cruel reality. Friedrich finally understood the serious harm of militarism and racism, gradually got rid of these ideas, and finally chose to join the anti-Nazi actions.
