"Hong Kong Strange Case: Vampire Guili King" is a Hong Kong police film directed by Lin Qinglong, written by Zhuo Bing, starring Huang Qiusheng and others. It was released in 1994

The film tells the story of a container driver Tang Zhiming (Anthony Wong) whose peaceful life was broken.

Tang Zhiming thought he could live a peaceful life after moving into the new house, but things turned into a nightmare. First of all, during the renovation period, he was blackmailed and intimidated by the underworld contractor. Fortunately, his wife Yazhen (Cheng Mi)'s former lover Can Knife (Huang Ziyang) stepped forward to defuse the crisis. However, Dao actually has ulterior motives. Under his instigation, Yazhen gets involved in the foreign exchange investment of a financial company under Hei Chaowen (He Jiaju), and as a result loses her principal and owes huge debts. Dao forced Yazhen to borrow money from Wen as an emergency, but Yazhen concealed the truth because she was afraid of her husband's scolding.

The repayment deadline has come and Yazhen is unable to repay, so Dao shows his true face. He forced Yazhen to take aphrodisiacs and had sex with her, and made a video of the whole process to coerce Yazhen into becoming a prostitute to pay off the debt. Yazhen, caught in a dilemma, reluctantly agreed to Dao's request. However, due to a series of coincidences, Zhiming's good friend actually had a relationship with Yazhen, which was questioned by Zhiming.

At the same time, Hei Chaowen forced Yazhen's younger sister Zhijun to sacrifice her life but failed. Arson set fire to their home, resulting in Yazhen being burned alive. Zhiming was deeply angry and determined to fight back under the stimulation of his family's misfortune. He changed from a weak character to a resolute and decisive person.
