The Whore in Me is a thought-provoking film set in a peaceful spa town. A man named Kuroda arrives here with a bundled mat to fulfill his late wife's last wish to scatter her ashes into the sea. Kuroda's wife, Ikuko, was not content to be alone while she was alive, having relationships with other men and eventually dying in an apartment

Kuroda lives in a B&B, and the B&B's daughter Qianjia became interested in him. During Kuroda's few days waiting for the ship arrangement, he decided to stay in this small town for the time being. During this period, he met Guizi, a woman who ran a tavern. Guizi originally lived in Tokyo and also lost her husband. In order to forget all this, she came to this small town. Guizi has a desire in her heart: She will lure men to her home and fulfill her desire with them.

By showing the intricate relationship between these main characters, this movie profoundly reveals the fragility of human nature and the impulse of desire . Each character is burdened with their own past and inner pain. In this quiet town, their destinies are intertwined, and they face spiritual struggles and emotional conflicts together.
