"Taboo" is a riveting film that revolves around Sakura (Nozomi Sugino). Sakura is a middle school teacher, and she lives an ordinary and lonely life. However, her life was broken by a sudden news. One day, she received news from her father whom she had not seen for many years, which made her feel very surprised and curious. Determined to find answers, Sakura decides to visit her father whom she hasn't seen in a long time

Arriving at her father's house, Sakura is greeted by a young boy, Nozomi (played by Taiga). The young man is mysterious and eccentric, which attracts Sakura's attention. As time goes by, Sakura discovers that she has an inexplicable attraction to Wang Ren, which makes her feel a surge of emotion.

However, the development of this relationship is facing many difficulties and challenges. First of all, Sakura is a teacher, and she has a clear bottom line for the relationship with students. She realizes that the relationship with Wangren is not recognized by society. Secondly, Wang Ren seems to have an unspeakable secret, which makes their relationship more complicated.

The forbidden love between Sakura and Nozoto leaves her feeling pained and confused. She is faced with moral and professional pressure, and at the same time she has to face the emotional entanglement in her heart.
