"Rescue Mr. Me" is starring first-line stars such as Andy Lau and Liu Ye. It tells the thrilling process of rescuing Mr. Wu organized by the police

Mr. Wu (played by Andy Lau) is a Hong Kong movie star. At night, as soon as he walked out of the bar, he was held by Zhang Hua and others who pretended to be traffic policemen. Mr. Wu was kidnapped with a gun and taken to a small courtyard in a remote suburb. He soon discovered that the robbers also kidnapped another hostage, Xiao Dou. The kind-hearted Mr. Wu and Zhang Hua fought wits and courage, and finally brought Xiao Dou back from the death line. The two spent a thrilling 20 hours together.

After receiving the report, the police quickly set up a special task force, headed by criminal police captain Xing Feng (played by Liu Ye) and Cao Gang (played by Wu Rufu) Detection work. Unexpectedly, Zhang Hua went out alone to pay the ransom with Mr. Wu’s good friend Mr. Su (played by Lin Xue), and after receiving the ransom, he ordered his accomplices to kill the hostages no matter whether the ransom was received or not.

After the police grasped Zhang Hua's whereabouts, after going through hardships, he finally captured and successfully rescued the two hostages.
