这部影片是由圣经改编而来的，主要讲述的是多达40万名以色列人奴隶在摩西的带领下，勇敢的与埃及法老拉美西斯反抗，出走埃及，越过红海的一系列故事
原本法老拉美西斯二世与摩西是情同手足的，之后摩西意识到了自己的使命，使命就是要解救那些处于水深火热之中的犹太人，这些犹太人民备受奴役，然而法老拉美西斯二世却拒绝了摩西的请求，还对这些可怜的犹太人民展开了残忍的杀戮，摩西等诸神在埃及降下了十灾，分别是黑暗之灾，冰雹灾，泡疮灾，血水灾，苍蝇灾，虱子灾，青蛙灾，蝗灾等等来惩罚法老的罪行，十灾降下之后，整个埃及地区陷入了一片混乱与黑暗，一向自诩为神的拉美西斯与遵守上帝之命的摩西走向了对立的局面，不过摩西会带领着人民逃离埃及与祸端。

Originally, Pharaoh Ramses II and Moses were brothers and sisters. After that, Moses realized his mission. The Jews in dire straits, these Jewish people were enslaved, but Pharaoh Ramesses II rejected Moses' request, and carried out a brutal killing of these poor Jewish people. Moses and other gods brought ten plagues on Egypt , Plagues of darkness, hail, boils, blood and water, flies, lice, frogs, locusts, etc. to punish Pharaoh’s crimes. After the ten plagues fell, the entire Egyptian region fell into chaos and darkness. Ramses, who has always claimed to be a god, and Moses, who obeyed God's order, are in a confrontation, but Moses will lead the people to escape from Egypt and the disaster.
